After her successful orchestral debut in 1989 at the Festival "Salzburger Schlosskonzerte", numerous engagements followed with renowned orchestras in Europe, the United States, South America, Israel and the Far East:
With the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra (NY, USA), the Alabama Symphony Orchestra (AL, USA), the Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn, Stuttgart Philharmonic, Stuttgart Chamber and Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Symphony, and the Belgian National Orchestra, to name but a few.
Tanja Becker-Bender has played in chamber music concerts together with Gidon Kremer, Boris Pergamenschikow, Yuri Bashmet, and Arnold Steinhardt, and has appeared in recitals in New York, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Vienna, Paris, London, Brussels, Antwerpen, Rome, Berlin, Hamburg and Stuttgart. She has been a guest at international festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, the Festspiele Mecklenburg Vorpommern, the Rheingau Festival, the Schwetzinger Festspiele and the Festival of Flanders.
In 2000 she performed the complete cycle of Sonatas and Partitas for Violin Solo by Johann Sebastian Bach in several European cities, including Vienna.
